30 Essex Oil Pan Gasket Thickness
Sometimes when I buy oil pan gaskets for my 30 Essex they are too short and need to be soaked and stretched to line up all the bolt holes so I want to cut my own. What is the proper thickness for these upper and lower gaskets? Thanks

Decided to answer my own question so I dropped the pan, took off the dipper tray and found the thickness to be 1/16" for both gaskets. Two 12" x 24" x 1/16" sheets of rubberized cork should take care of it, if anyone is following this question.
