Fuel Pump Question

I have a 1952 308 and i need to replace the fuel pump. How do I know if I need a single action or double action fuel pump?

Look at it! If it has two chambers it is a vacuum/fuel unit.

If you dont care about originality yiu can install a pump from an AMC 258-6. Direct bolt on just plumb it. I used one from a 1979 AMC Concorde on a 262. Works perfectly.

If you are still using the factory vacuum wiper setup, a double action would be highly recommended.
