55 308 engine block missing the main bearing caps

There is a 308 block listed for sale that has been hot tanked and magnufluxed for cracks, however it does not have the main bearing caps. I am guessing that this would involve sourcing some caps from a donor engine which be milled to compensate for sizing then line bored to accept the new bearings?
Anyone out there gone through this procedure and how difficult was it ??
