28 Motor Mounts

I read, with difficulty, an old thread from 2017 where Karl Hanson it advising Jack McMullen about the material for the mounts (flat belting), thickness (1/4"), and the springs under the front mounts. I'm fine until the springs part. Yes, my car had floor mat rubber, and it really flattens out to the thickness of a crepe. No springs anywhere in sight.

Please tell me more. What do I need? Where do I get them? I can understand the reason perfectly. And since my car will be traveling very very rough, and part of the way off road, all the more reason to put them in as they should be.

Car someone give me some advice, please?
