I need a good hood hinge cover for a 1936 Hudson 8 if anyone has one please.

Do you mean the stainless centre cover strip that Mack and MGs used?

That's right Barry.   Unfortunately Mack and M.G.  parts suppliers are about as plentiful as Hudson!  The one I have is badly corroded, so need a new one.  It is a domed strip with folded un der edges which the hood (bonnet) sides fit into longitudinally

 I don't know what size you are looking for but I have used Max Merritt to make new ones for my Packard.  They aren't specifically for Packards.

They make a stainless steel repro strip for Fords of the 1930's.  These are supplied in 48" lengths.  Here is the web address https://grumpsgarage.com/product/1932-36-center-hood-hinge-strip-universal-stainless/

Of course you'd want to get some tight measurements before ordering.
