Time for a valve job?
on my 54 Hornet special plugs 5&6 are carbon fouled. The other 4 plugs appear normal. I cleaned them and reinstalled them and in short they were fouled again. Any suggestions?

Do a compression test - likely low.

Valves will not cause plugs to oil up. Compression and vacuum tests will most likely reveal something.
