Do anyone have a NAPA or other supplier part number for a Starter Bendix used on a '52 308, standard transmission?

Thanks

  • I have those if you can't  find them.

The Hudson parts manuals had sections where the carbs, starters, generators were separated out, and their parts were listed by the supplier's (not Hudson's) numbers.  At least they did this pretty much up to the Step Down era, I think.  Once you determine the AutoLite number, you can go searching around the internet for a NOS one.

As you may already know, the H-E-T website has a section where individual shop and parts manuals can be downloaded.  Assuming you're registered at the site.
  • Lance is a good choice for this sort of thing.  Alternatively, Oklahoma Starter Drive is a good option.  Buy one and get the old one rebuilt, if possible.  Here is what I know:
