1940 Hudson coupe

Hi all I am looking at a 1940 Hudson 8cyl coupe and would like to know a few things before going forward on this.
(1) do all 1940 Hudson coupes have the jump seats behind the bench seat.
(2) all of the body and hood moldings are missing how hard would it be to find these parts every thing else for the car is there.

    Be prepared to not find the missing pieces & if you can live with that your good to go!

    You can try to find out if anyone hot rodded a 40 coupe and see if they left the molding off
    Or try looking in the roster for. anybody  that has a coupe with spare parts good luck

    Also: possibly some moldings were used in previous, or in subsequent years.  Check the parts manual for your year, find the number of the part you seek, then look in the 1950 Interchange Manual, by part number, to see if that part was used on any other years or models of Hudson.  (The Interchange manual is on the online library.  Any current member can register and use the library.)
