I am installing the stainless moldings on the doors. The midline molding is on but
what do you use for retainers on the upper moldings (door belt line) that have a stepped bottom ?
The original retainers are worm dust.

I used the stainless ones from KGAP on my super wasp.  I believe they are the same as Wildricks.  I cut them in 2 inch sections them bent them lengthwise to follow the contour.  It has been awhile but i believe i just flipped them face down and used a chisel to get a slight V on them.

If there was a thank you button... Rich you would have gotten one from me... Good Idea.  I have been messing with these cars since 1962 and this is the first time I have read that idea!   :)  THANK YOU   :)

    Don, answered your mail.
Rich, I had thought of that but have not tried it. Will get what I can from Don and use as a pattern for the others.
