rear seat access - '54 Hornet

I've been removing the rear seat from my "54 Hornet coupe and realized that the fold-down trunk access center piece is a spring frame stapled to a piece of unfinished 1/2 inch marine plywood. How simple is that! Anyway, now I know where they stuffed all the extra kids on beach trips.
