    ‘54 Hollywood sold for $15K
’54 Hornet 2 Dr Coupe sold for $8.5K
’53 Hornet 4 door Sedan sold for $5K

Add 10% Auction Fee to these amounts

Good deals for new owners. Especially the Hollywood which seemed to be the only runner.

I was there but didn't bid. The Hollywood was a nice car, but the other 2 needed quite a bit. They were all "drivers". I think he brought in about a million in sales. I don't think it was even half of the cars he owns. It was a fun auction.

I picked up the 53 Hornet Sedan, sight unseen, like I really needed another project  :#

That’s a smart $5k investment in light of the fact that a new car will cost $100K in a couple of years and six bananas will cost $12 in 3 years. Money sitting in the bank is a much worse option…

I'm going to have the car transported.

He has had that '54 Hollywood for sale for quite some time (like 7 or 8 years), for $24K, so it looks like someone did well.
