1949 Hudson 8 valve springs & retainers

I am doing a valve job on a 1949 Hudson engine and keeping all the parts separate to put them back in the same order.  I was curious if the valve springs and retainers ( not the horseshoe clips) are the same?  Thanks,  Don

    Yes, there is no need to re-assemble in the same order.
    If you're stuck in a hole, stop digging.
