    Help me out. Does the price make him a scammer?
    Lots of guys only accept paypal friends, don't want to deal with the tax forms.
    If he's trying to sell a part he doesn't have , he is scamming.
    Seems mighty high for a hinge, but you start somewhere.
    How do you ID a scammer?

    Don’t take family and friends if they are not family or a friend.  The tax dodge is a poor excuse.  Ask to see a photo of the item and get their phone number to verify they are real.  If they are still pushing the f/f PayPal thing offer to cover the 2.9%
