Hello,
I am finalizing the new wiring for 12v neg ground and cant seem to find an answer. Is there a difference between a 6v and 12v cigar lighter? Thanks all

Not sure, but one wouldn't think so...probably just heat up at different speeds.0

That is what I was thinking. Something to do with the thickness of the coil on the lighter and amps. So I guess I will leave the original in and just use as a charger for phone and all. I never see using it for its intended use.
Thanks!0
