Preliminary pricing on the Twin Vortex Head

The same foundry that is working on the manifold has given me preliminary pricing on the Twin Vortex Head.  Surprisingly the head came well in under budget,  The price to make 30 is $1,250, $1,150 for 40.   I have 23 on the reserve list so far.  I will be contacting them to confirm that they are still in.  Our original estimate was between $1,650 and $1,800 so this is much better than we expected.  Also there have been some improvements internally that further strengthens this design over the orginal run of heads 10 years ago.

    Had another head signup last night.  So at 24.  I would still like to have 30 solid commitments to keep the price in $1,250 range (the foundry still has to confirm some details on machining).  

    I also put an ad in the WTN in the latest issue.  Let your Hudson buddies know.  I would like to get this project going and then concentrate on the manifold, hopefully.
