29 Running Board Mats Availability Options
As I recall, K-GAP was the only holder of the molds for the correct design and logo for the mats. I was unfortunately not able to have a set made before they capitulated.
I've found another possible supplier but he does not have the "stop sign" design and "Super Six" logo. Its a 30's logo with/without the "8". He's interested in making a correct design but requires exacting pictures/examples to produce the correct layout.
With the cost approaching 4 figures for his 30's mats, I am looking for options
If there are several owners interested in nice repro's we should be able to get a decent price in exchange for helping in his layout design.
Or is there any other options. I'm starting to think a 4 figure investment in a "all there is available" is a bit much. Reverting to generic till someone pops up doing originals.
As I remember, KGAP kept the large running board and floor mat molds. Has anyone ventured into testing the waters again with the Spring's?
