I have asked this too of various people, and have never heard an answer.
Does anybody know what Jack Smith uses? For those that don't know, Hyatt
bearings are a steel strip bent around a rod at an angle forming a spiral
tube. The gap between the spirals is used for oil to wick through for
lubrication. Model Ts use Hyatt bearings somewhere in the rear axle, and I
believe the only source of replacement is NOS.
