17 Hudson limousine

I have photos I took in the '70s of a true '17 limo. with dividing

window, speaking tube, etc. A very orig. untouched car it was part

of the Art Austria horde auctioned off in L.A. in the '70s. I was

told the buyer was from San Diego, but have never seen or heard of

the car since.

Old friend in L.A., no longer an HET member, has a wonderful

completely restored '20 Hudson touring limousine with dividing window,

brocade uph., Westinghouse shocks front & rear, roof rack, trick

windshield (see p. 63 at bottom in Butler's), etc. Supposedly

belonged to the Zone Dist. in Milwaukee & was decked out with every

accessory (has a "Hudson Super Six" dash clock). He bought it at a

National in Milwaukee many years ago. MOST impressive car - only

other one I've ever seen of the big touring limousines was up in Lodi

mucho years ago.
