Recommended Book

To All,

I just purchased a book on ebay titled "Everyman's Guide to Motor

Efficiency". The book was first published in 1920 and last published

in 1927.

The 1927 book is excellent. It covers many aspects of 'how to'for

early 20's cars. As of tonight, I saw three other copies. One was

for 1920, the other 1922 and the last one from 1926. My book is from

1927. To me the later addition, the better.

You might have remembered me inquiring about leaf springs in a past

message and how to take care of them. And, I appreciate the

responses I received.

In reviewing this book, it said to make up a mixture of oil and

graphite to a paste consistency and apply this to your leaf springs.

It also talks about many aspects of 'how to' including redoing babbit

bearings. If nothing else, its quite an interesting book.

So if your interested, the copies are there for auction with a due

date of 3/8. Just thought I let you know.
