Hudson racing trophy

I recently watched a YouTube video of a 100 mile dirt track race at the 1953 Wisconsin State Fair.  Hudsons took first, second and third places.  I was intrigued by the trophies that were presented to the winners.  The trophies have a car on the top that appears to be a stepdown Hudson.

It's possible that they put a Hudson on the trophy because they expected a Hudson to win the race.  I wonder how a Brand X driver would have felt if they had managed to win the race and received a Hudson trophy?

Has anyone ever seen one of these?

I have one of those Hudson "trophy models" without the trophy itself.  Seems to be a 1952 Hornet.  Mine has a gold colored plating and has a fair amount of chips in the plating and it's quite heavy.  It's 5" long.  These seem to occasionally show for sale at Hudson regional and international swap meets.  Sometimes you'll find one plated and other times bare metal (probably pot metal).  I've never seen one mounted to a trophy, but perhaps someone out there amongst us has one.
