Clutch Fluid Change - 1929 Hudson
How much clutch fluid is needed in a 1929 Hudson Super Six? Should I flush it with kerosene before adding new fluid?. I am using hydraulic fluid for steering box of modern cars, any issue with this replacement? How frequent does it need to be changed? Thanks, Julio

DO NOT USE HYDRAULIC FLUID!!! THIS WILL GRAB AND CHATTER, AND RUIN YOUR CLUTCH. Have I emphasised this enough??? You can get proper Hudsonite from Doug Wildrick, or you can use Dexron 3 Auto transmission fluid. You will need about 1/2 a pint. No need to flush the clutch, unless the fluid you drain out is real dirty.0
