How is the radio in a 53 Hornet set up

Since I have some free time these weeks, I am investigating the radio on my 53. It is an original and un molested car generally speaking.

I think I just found the fuse which appears to be on the side of the radio body. I'll check that out but afterwards, is there any good advice on pulling the radio out? 

I've got a scan of the radio instruction and installation manual probably from Alex Burrs site. Unfortunatly it is not a very good scan and all the schematic information is basically unreadable. Does anyone have a good scan of the radio schematic?
