    Lost mind, good luck telling the Handleman 
    I tried to tell him it was 28 hudson a week ago and he basically tore a strip off me.

    Yes , he can be cranky sometimes. It happens to a lot of us when we get older
    and gain more daily pains.
    I've dealt with him before and we always work out a fair deal.
    He is sick with the flu right now.
    I was just trying to hook this part up with someone that needs it , I have nothing in the game.
    He said he will be back in action in a week or two.

    Don't tell him, just show him this picture of the robe rail left end from my 1928 Hudson Sedan. (This is broken, just proped together for the picture. The other end is bad.). I need a good way to fix the breaks, maybe epoxy.

    I think you will find the ends have been cut off that robe rail.

    So then , lostminds original post is in fact a rob rail and not a foot rest.

    Yes, I would imagine so.   Though I have not seen a foot rest, but I imagine it would have been hinged.
