Looking for history on 1937 Terraplane Business coupe - recent sale

Hello,

I am a freelance auto journalist and historian working for Chicago Vintage Motor Carriage, the recent buyer of this 1937 Terraplane Business Coupe:

The auction description indicates this is a club car, so I'm asking if anyone here has more info about it. Right now I am writing copy for a placard to be displayed with the car, and will be writing a more extensive piece for the website and possibly printed materials later on. Plus, we would like to record and preserve as much history of this particular car as we can. I'm fairly certain they are club members as there is already a 1953 Hornet in the collection.

    If indeed this is Steve Blake's former coupe.  The history of the car can be gotten from Steve, who had the Davis' Restoration shop restore the car.  It's first showing after the restoration was at the HET National meeting held in Golden Colorado.   Steve's car was especially nice among restored examples of 1937 Terraplane Coupes
