Carburator leak

Lately I was doing some carb adjustment on Molly ( my 54 Hudson Super Wasp ) and I've discovered an issue that is strange to me.

When I started the engine to let it run a bit before setting the idle, I saw that one of the carbs ( the front one ) was leaking gasoline near the foat chamber.
As seen on the picture, the float chamber is located to the right and it is leaking from there, but only on the front carb, while the second one that is located further back is not leaking at all. As it is the first time the front carb is leaking that way, it makes me curious : could the leak be a symptom of old gaskets that needs to be replaced or could it be something else ?

The only adjustments that I've done on both carbs so far are only on the Climatic Control ( the automatic choke ) and on the fast idle. I'll be checking on shop manuals for any clue on this while trying to learn more on the carbs.

Thanks in advance,

Max
