Any fan from '34 to '54 will fit. Later ones with offset blades are quieter and shift more air.

Hey,
are the later fans still a 4 blade or are they 5?
Also, are they the same diameter?
I also would be interested in a quieter fan than would move more air..

Later fans are still a 4 blade. Lance sold me one that I used to upgrade my car. It is quieter, moves more air, and fits in the same space. The attached picture shows the difference.

I believe my 37 Hudson 6 cylinder has a 17” fan but I heard there are 18” fans too.  Is that correct?  My current fan has one blade which is bent towards the engine, will bending it back effect the strength?
