Tranny lube capacity

The manual calls for 3-1/4 pounds on th transmission w/overdrive.  How does this equate to qts?  
I’m used to filling up the manual transmission up to the point of “run out” on the fill hole, but this one has several plugs at different elevations.

    A quart is a pound. Was taught in USAF. a quart's a pound the world around.

    Be aware, that the transmission and overdrive unit do not share fluids, and need to be checked and filled independently of each other.

    Well, Ken U-tx is right on again. Less than two lbs (qts) and it's running out of every hole. Ken, you gotta be getting tired of being right even when the manual sez otherwise!

    FYI A gallon of water weighs about 8 lbs. So a quart of water weighs about 2 pounds. Oil is a little lighter (it floats) so a quart of oil is probably a little under 2 pounds.
