1927 Hudson Essex Super Six Brougham

This is another photo from James Baxendale who sent in the picture seen before of Randolph Trafford,who owned the 1935 Hudson 8.

James says "The photograph was taken in Geneva in May 1928. The car belonged to my great great uncle, "Windy" Corbett-Winder who was a well-known car expert in the family".

He has traced the registration number to the Worcestershire Records Office. It was sold by Stour Valley Motor Co Ltd of Stourbridge on 12 December 1927 (the company incidentally still exists). It's Hp was noted as 29.11.

    It looks big for an Essex. It has four wheel brakes, Essex didn't have four wheel brakes until 28, most likely it's a 27
    Hudson.
