Hudson factory heater is missing core and motor. Anyone have a part number and manufacturer for these MIAs. Would like to find 12volt motor but can use resistor on 6volt. Is an interchange available as ford, gm, Chrysler, stepdown, etc? Thanks for suggestions

I replaced the heater motor in my 46 with a 12 volt from O’Reallys auto parts. Ken U gave me the part #, it cost around $25. The shaft had to be shortened but it was a perfect fit and works fine.
