Threaded holes in H8 inlet manifold

This is a photo of a single barrel H8 inlet manifold, I'm not sure of the purpose of the 3 threaded holes. The LH hole presumably provides vacuum to the wiper motor, the centre hole could be a drain for excess fuel in the manifold but its a long way (5/16") above the floor of the manifold, the RH hole I have no idea. Any thoughts?

Not sure, but I believe they were vacuum connections for the electric hand  mechanism.
