Anyone ever see a clock like this? I own a neon clock, but have never seen one like this. Fantasy piece? Less expensive option for dealers in the day? An item the club made at some point?

The general design  reflects 1939-47 era cars.

That is a PAM clock. Not a fake clock.  They are valuable to collectors.   Likely there are two light bulb holders in the back or a small light of another sort. As it stands it's likely worth about  two hundred to a collector. There should be a tag on the back indicating it's manufacture and being made I believe in New Rochelle, New York. I believe they are now being revived as a company again . These were the alternative to the more expensive Hudson neon clock. PAM made clocks from the late 1930's to about 1970 or so. Not many of these left.
