54 Hornet hydra matic linkage length

I would like to know the exact length of the rod with little ball joints on each end that is bolted to the bell crank and the other end is bolted to the shaft that runs along engine and moves carbs.I need the studs or tie rod ends  to be at 90 deg and measure center to center on studs. Thanks I had to make my own and that is possibly my shifting problems. Or one for sale.Pictures would also helpwith measurements. Thanks a Million.  Ray from  Canada

    I will try to get you a picture, Ray.  The one we had was too long, so we cut a section out of the middle, threaded the ends, and added a nut so that we could fine-tune the length as needed.  Made a world of difference.  The length was so wrong before, that I wonder if it was meant for a different vehicle altogether...

    It's about 5.5 inches.
