How to remove door skins in my 41 hudson six

I would like to remove my door skins especially the passenger front as I can not turn the lock to lock the door with the key.
I can hardly pull the knob with my hand. so I would like to take the door skin off and get it working better. any help would be appreciated not quite sure how they are fastened.

You should get a shop manual it will tell you how to remove the handel and lock and do you have the right key for the door

No need to remove the door skin. Remove the inside door lining to expose the door lock. You will then see how to separate the lock from the outside handle.
