1947 Commodore Badges/emblems

Anyone here have a Commodore hood emblem/badge? 4" by 3/8"
I bought one recently in good shape and mounted it with push nuts and within 3-4 days it fell off while driving and I cannot find it. A CNC shop quoted me $500 to make two, the actual parts would be much less because most of the cost is setup and design.

If anyone can help track one down I would appreciate it. Also any suggestions for keeping them on?
