52´radio installation

Hello,
i´m just in the progress of putting my dashboard (52´Hornet) back together. I´m wondering what  the correct installation of the little brass pieces are (see pictures).

Marco, Those are eyelet grommets that have nothing to do with your radio.

That is very funny.......sometimes ....on my car there are some more "improvements" made by the former owner. But look at the pictures...the eyelet grommets have the perfect fit for the knobs. And they were greased . So i will throw them away. Probably i will have to ask some more silly questions in the next couple of weeks. Starting to put the interior back in the car in the next days.
