Oil Seal numbers

Can anyone help me?

We live in Australia, and have a 1951 Commodore.

I was wondering if anyone would know any cross reference part numbers, as well as the sizes / dimensions of the seals.

I'm chasing information on a gearbox extension housing seal and a pinion seal. I am hoping to source them here locally.

The gearbox is a single lever, three speed with overdrive, with part National RG 110A seal.

The pinion seal has part number National 50757

Thanks in advance

Lee

G'Day Lee, Have you taken the oil seals to your local bearing shop.?? They should be able to help you if you take a sample.Les.P.

    Hello Les

The seals are still in the car as I need it to be driveable for the next few months

I have what  i think are the dimensions of these seals, but the bearing supplier is having trouble with an exact match.

There is nothing special or exotic about those seals, they are stock off the shelf sizes. A good bearing shop should be able to track down the modern versions from the old part numbers.
