Hi all,
I am looking for a vintage car & interested in a 1924 Hudson Super Six which has been restored. It is a 7 passenger sedan with division. It is fitted with wire wheels which I am wondering if they would  be original, or if someone has modified the car. I cannot find any pictures of this vintage (1924) with wire wheels. All the old brochures I have seen  show cars with wooden spoke wheels. It is a magnificent looking car, but if modified I need to know before I make an offer as this may affect its value. Also, it has been described as an 'Imperial' but this doesn't seem to gel with Hudson models that I know about.
Cheers to you all, Roger (Australia)

1924 had the option of wire, wood, or steel disc wheels.  Most likely  600x21", but could be 500x24" depending on whether early or late in the series.
