E a truetone horn expert needed

I have 2 E A Truetone horns that are out of adjustment , someone has been in them before I got them . Trial and error trying to set them is taking for ever . They have a screw to set the points under the cap , then in the bottom half in the hole that the trumpet goes in there is a bolt that goes into the bracket that holds the points with a spanner nut around it . They also effect the point setting . Then there is the trumpet with a locking nut on it to adjust the trumpet . Whoowey , Where do you start and what to listen or look for at each thing ? HELP PLEASE !!! BUD
