Hudson Jet Gas Gauge OHMS

Does anyone know the OHMS scale ( rating ) for the gas gauge receiving gauge which is in the dash? A fellow Jet owner had to replace the sending gauge as the tank and sending gauge were in a rotted condition. They had the tank rebuilt and bought a new sending unit, however the Ohms don't match up. The sending unit appears to be adjustable.
