Hudson PU at NHRA Winter Nationals
Today there was a pretty nice looking 46 or 47 Hudson PU at the 50th NHRA National Drag Race at Pomona. That excited me, since I have one. For the parade of nostalgia race cars, the Hudson PU was used as a push truck for one of the nostalgia fuel dragsters. Also, it was used to push start one of the fuel dragsters for the crackle fest. That was when all the nostalgia dragsters were push started at the same time.
I didn't count them but I would guess about 40, all reving their engines at the same time. Quite noisey and alot of nitro fumes.
Just my luck I did not have a camera with me. I hope someone on the forum may have been there and took a picuture of the Hudson PU and will post it on the forum.
