Another Hudson in the Movies

Hello,

This has probably been mentioned before. I am watching J.W. Coop, a 1972 movie starring Cliff Robertson. Early in the movie he is driving a Stepdown Coupe. He tells a motorcycle cop that it is a 1949 Hudson, but it looks like a 1951 to me. It sure did smoke as he was driving it!
