Inspection is on 13 and auction is on 14th.  His other 5 collector cars will also be sold at the auction.
  • He had quite a "collection".   None nicer than the Hornet...k

The convertible sold for 95,200.00 and auctioneer said it was the star of the auction.  He said it drew more attention than the Cord.
  • Wow!   Beauty of a car.   Any regrets, Dave?

Only that I didn't get that much for it
  • Well, the power of the auction today, the hype of the venue, plus the notoriety of being a Senator and a collector didn't hurt.   Someone has to pay for all of that...k

It was his car, but I liked the continental on it.
