Someone a while back posted a recipe for a substitute for Hudson clutch fluid. Mine is a tad low o fliud and delivery of the proper fliud is about 10 days way.

Anyone recall the mixture?

DAVE HOW DO YOU KNOW YOUR A TAD LOW? IT'S ONLY 1/3 OF A PINT THE ONLY WAY I KNOW TO MEASURE IT IS TO DRAIN IT.   NEVER PUT THE STUFF  YOU DRAIN OUT BACK IN. IN A PINCH I WOULD USE (AS MANY GUYS HAVE) ATU DREXTRON 3 IT WILL WORK FOR YOU DOUG WILDRICK HAS IT IN STOCK

Have used Dexron 3 for twenty odd years, buy it off the shelf at any parts shop.

I run a formula that was posted some years ago. I believe it is Walts formula. It is 2oz of Dextron, 2oz of 10w30 , and 2oz of Marvels. It has worked fine for me.

I have about ten cans of original stuff on my shelf and no longer have a Hudson that uses it. Be happy to sell it just send me a note at browniepetersen"at"readytek.net

    It's leaking fluid.

Thanks to all for your advice. I have replaced the clutch seal a couple of years back, not in a big hurry to repeat, but maybe this winter.
