At the request of @Hudsontech , a category has been created for Manuals, schematics, charts, etc..

Pretty empty right now - but hopefully it will eventually have documentation and information of use to those working on their vehicles.

Please feel free to add documentation to this area - try to keep conversation, comments, posts, here to a minimum.

Please don't be offended should comments, or discussions that do not pertain directly to the manual, chart or the documentation in question are moved or removed. As with a couple of other information-type areas, this area is to be a 'clean read' area.

In doing this, we hope to cut down on verbiage and offer quick and simple help, without making people read through a whole bunch of opinions in
search of their answer.

And, should things get crowded, sub-categories may be added 'sort things out'.

Alex, You've actually replied to the only thread in that category - this one.  If you click-on that category, it will show this thread.

Go to the top of this thread, and look to the right of the title of this thread.  You'll see the category that it has been 'filed' within - "Manuals, etc.,".

Ah so. Helps if you click on "Start A New Discussion". I used that 1951 wiring diagram as a test bed.

Thanks Alex, much appreciated.  Should we need to, we can create sub-categories.

Have some schematics/diagrams (measurements) of Hudson pickups I am going to add once I get a chance.

Rick, way I see it if somebody needs something, like the 1951 wiring diagram (and I have others in that vintage) I can post it for them and anybody else.

Alex, Is this some data you can use?

    Hi Brownie,

I hadn't expected to come across a reason to email you again, but a
couple days ago a large envelope without any return address arrived at
the (highly historic) library that's owned by the association I'm
    president of. (
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnegie_Free_Library_of_Braddock ).
Inside was a ledger book which seems to contain all the sales at Matta
Motors, the local Hudson dealership, from 1927, with model, price paid,
trade-in if any, etc., along with one invoice paper (attached).

As I said before, I'm a Packard guy, and altho I like Hudsons too*, I
don't know any local Hudson people. Since you seem to have deep
connections to the national organization, I thought I'd send this to
you, if you know anyone in the Pittsburgh area who might like to know
about it. And if for any reason you'd like a larger format copy of this
pic, I also have the 1.4MB version that I could send, too.

One question, too. Local lore has it that Matta Motors was the first
indoor car dealership in the country. I've always thought this was a
dubious claim, and it seems to have originated from a newspaper article
in the '50s, but if by any chance there's anything relating to that
among Hudson folks, please let me know.

    Cheers,
    John

*If I could have my pick of any two Hudsons ever made, I'd probably go
    for a '38 convertible coupe and a '49 coupe.

Brownie,  Yes, I can use it.  Will greatfuly accept anything relating to Hudson.  How I might use it, I have no idea - but I'll think of something.  When I get done I can pass on the info to whatever registry people the material pertains to.  I got some material like this a while back and ended up sending it to the appropriate registry people.
