rubber mat/carpeting questions for stepdowns
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone had a pic of an original rubber mat used in a '48-'49 car?
If I wanted to make one could I use the measurements off of a carpet set? Would the rubber mat be attached to the floor or be loose? If it is attached to the floor boards what would I glue would I use?
OR
If I bought a carpet set and then completely covered the front floorboard area with a couple of rubber replacement mats glued in place...I am just wondering how do able this might be.
If anyone has any insight on this I'd welcome it!
